What happens to your information when you use this site, contact us, or stay in one of our homes.

The short version: this website does not track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no forms. We only learn something about you if you choose to contact us or book a stay.
Nothing directly. There are no contact forms, no sign-ups, no cookies, and no analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Two third parties do receive a request from your browser when a page loads:
Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, page requested, time — for security and diagnostics.
This site links out to WhatsApp and email rather than collecting messages itself. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under Meta’s terms. If you email info@hostu.biz, we receive your address and whatever you write.
We use what you send to reply and, if you become a guest, owner or investor, to provide the service. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
Bookings are not processed on this website. They are handled by the platform you book through — Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or our own booking system — and by Guesty, the property-management system we operate on. Those companies process your booking and payment details under their own privacy policies. We receive the reservation details they pass to us: your name, contact details, dates, and anything you tell us about your stay.
Guest and owner records are kept for as long as we need them to run the booking, meet tax and legal obligations, and resolve any dispute or damage claim arising from a stay.
Email info@hostu.biz to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will do what the law requires and, where we can, what you ask.
